Who Runs the Lab

JingleRocketQuestn is a small, independent project built by grassroots coaches and a physics teacher who spent too many evenings filming free kicks in slow motion.

Why a Lab Notebook

Most free-kick content shows a goal and says "practise more". We wanted to explain why the ball moves, then turn each explanation into a drill that anyone with a ball, a few cones and a net can test. Every page follows the same pattern: the physics, the famous examples, then the experiment you run yourself.

How We Research

  • Published aerodynamics research, such as work from the University of Tsukuba and the New Journal of Physics.
  • The IFAB Laws of the Game for every rule we mention.
  • Our own filmed sessions with youth and adult amateur players.
  • Reference books including John Wesson's The Science of Soccer.
